The snow is so soft anything but large pieces of bread sinks. I cleared a stone and put bread and seed on it. A male blackbird gorged on bread. Other birds hopped around on twigs but didn’t come down.
I put out a tray with food and water. A great tit got close several times but a robin flew at it. I didn’t see the thick orange bastard take any food either!
After a while the robin must have left and the great tit got to feed. I also saw a dunnock and a wren, but not on the tray.
