Our changing moors

where the lambs could once safely browse

were the foraged flowers

that time has grazed away.

But may the light of hope

that love should brightly rouse

bring you blessed hours

in the come what may.

I created this card on the 1st Dec 2017. The image was made, using GIMP, from a picture taken of a pylon near Lonely House Farm, Northowram, on 30th Nov.

I cut the star from tangerine peel lying close to my laptop (warning, cutting tangerine peel with scissors may result in peel juice shooting straight into your eye). The whole thing, including poem and first lay-out, took just under 3 hours.
